AVAILABILITY:  Available to Cotton Gins and Peanut Drying consumers located on or near the Cooperative’s three-phase lines.

TYPE OF SERVICE:  Three-phase, 60 Hertz, at available secondary voltages.

RATE:

Demand Charge:                                                       $4.25 per kVA / year

Operations Charge: 

All kWh                                                            $0.0400 per kWh

Wholesale Power Charge:                                      

All kWh                                                            $0.0570 per kWh

MINIMUM CHARGE:  The minimum charge under the above rate shall be $1,000.00 per year.  The demand charge, based on kVa, may be waived if management determines that it is in the best interest of the Consumer and the Cooperative.

POWER FACTOR:  The consumer agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable.  The Cooperative reserves the right to measure such power factor at any time.  Should such measurements indicate that the power factor at the time of maximum demand is less than 90%, the demand for billing purposes shall be the demand indicated or recorded by the demand meter; increases one percent (1%) for each one percent (1%) by which the power factor is less than 90%.

TERMS OF PAYMENT: The above charges are due within ten (10) days of the date of the bill.  A late charge of one and one-half percent (1.5%) will be added in the event the current bill is not paid in full within ten (10) days.
